Spring at the Ranch

Wildflowers at Juniper Mountain Ranch.

Greetings from Juniper Mountain Ranch. This last week, we have been trying to shear
8,000 head of sheep in between rainstorms. While the rain delays the spring shearing,
the range is lush with green grass and forbs, which benefits our sheep, elk, and bison.

With the renewal of the range comes the birth of lambs, bison, and elk calves. It is a
wonderful time of the year!

If you haven’t booked your fall hunt, we still have dates available. Hunts begin August
31 and continue through November 26. We have a sale on the bison hunts; $1,000 off
the regular price on our yearlings, cows, and bulls.

The bull elk are doing well with the new horns rapidly growing. If you are looking for a meat hunt more than antlers, consider a yearling or mature cow elk to fill your freezer.

Enjoy this beautiful spring and the renewal of life.
