If you’re looking for private ranch elk hunting in the Rocky Mountains, Juniper Mountain Ranch offers an exceptional hunting experience in beautiful eastern Idaho. Our private elk and bison hunts are designed for hunters who want quality game, experienced guidance, and plenty of room to hunt. We guarantee that you will harvest your animal..

Our hunts are three days in length. We primarily hunt elk and bison by “spot and stalk”. Hunts are Sunday through Wednesday or Wednesday through Saturday with arrival mid-afternoon of the first day, either Sunday or Wednesday.

Juniper Mountain Ranch includes more than 12,000 acres under high fence for elk and bison hunting. Our family sheep ranch extends across more than 450,000 acres of forest, BLM, state, and private land, creating an incredible Rocky Mountain setting with views of the Teton Peaks, Centennial Mountains, and Sawtooth Mountains.

We are proud to be a six-generation family-owned ranch. In 2001, we expanded our operation to include private elk and bison hunting, with a focus on providing every guest with a high-quality, personal, and memorable hunting experience.
