Are all hunts guaranteed and why don't I need a tag or license?
Yes, all our hunts are guaranteed. If you don't get your elk or bison you owe us nothing. This is a private hunting ranch and no license or tag is required.
What is the typical length of a hunt?
Hunts usually last three days. If you are successful on your first or second day we provide a day of bird hunting and or fishing. Pheasants, chuckars and Hungarian partridges can be hunted on a private preserve with a $10.50 license required. Dogs rent for $25/hour and birds cost $10-$15 each. Waterfowl hunts require a non-resident hunting license ($73.50 day)and a federal duck stamp. If you were born after 1976 you need to bring along your hunter education number. When is your season?
Archery season runs from late August through October 5 and rifle season is from September through late November.

Can I have my meat processed and shipped?
The butcher usually requires a one to two day turn around on cut and wrapped meat. Yes, it can be shipped to you or you can take it with you if you are driving. The cost of cutting and wrapping is $.75 a pound on the carcass weight which yields about $1.32 a pound for the final product. Shipping costs vary.

What about taxidermy?
We have qualified taxidermists to mount your trophy.
Can you accommodate disabled hunters?
Yes, we can accommodate disabled hunters and our lodge is handicapped accessible.
Are there any add-on charges?
No, the cost of the elk or bison includes the lodge, all meals, the guide, the skinning and dressing of the meat, and pickup and delivery to the Idaho Falls airport. Tips for the guide and cook are appreciated. Recommended tip for the guide is 10%. Idaho Sales tax of 6% is added to the price of the hunt.

How do I book a hunt?
We require a 25% deposit to book your hunting dates. We accept checks, cash, and credit cards. Just give us a call or email with your desired dates.
What is the cost of a 391-500 elk?

An elk that scores over 391 is $12,000 with an additional charge of $300 for each inch over 391. A 400 elk is $15,000 with a $300 charge for each inch over 400. Monster elk measuring 425-577 are available, please call for prices.

What is a management bull and do you offer cow hunts?
A management bull is usually a younger animal that scores less then 230 or it may have atypical antlers, a 4x6 or 5x6 etc. The meat is good. Yes, we offer cow hunts at $2,000. Cow hunts do not include side trips and are limited to one day.
Can I bring my spouse and family along?
Yes. Our non-hunting adult guests are charged $150 per day for meals and lodging. The pricing for children depends on the ages.
